I will be the first to admit that I have some OCD tendencies. I like things to look a certain way, I’m always early, and I’d rather be over-prepared than just plain old prepared.

I know that a lot of this mentality will have to be pushed to the wayside once baby Mesnick arrives, but that’s why I’m trying to do as much as I possibly can before baby arrives, so that when the time comes…I’m at least just “plain old prepared”.

To get ready, I’m doing things like setting up “diaper changing stations” in every room in our house. That way, I don’t need to bring the baby to another room just to change his/her diaper. A little excessive? Does Jason think I’m crazy? Yes and yes, but it makes me feel better, so I’m doing it regardless.

Though I may not be taking the baby out much in the first month, I wanted to be sure I had my car packed with all of the essentials for when we do venture out of the house. To help me with this, I got the most incredible product from sugarSNAP. It is so simple, yet so genius, so I wanted to share it with all of my mommy friends out there!

Their Car-go system gives you a compact space to neatly organize all of those must-have items and eliminates any clutter. Certainly, it will help reduce those moments where you dig around a bag for 15 minutes just to find a pacifier or teething toy!

The car-go system comes with a cute storage bin and six file bags that are labeled for all of your momssentials. After filling up my pouches, there was still room in the storage bin to throw in some items for me (i.e. extra shirt, make-up, flip flops, etc)

I’m seriously obsessed with the sugarSNAP items because they have made my life a lot easier…and I don’t even have a baby yet! If you don’t need the car-go system, they also sell the files separately to throw in your diaper bag!
