Last night, we all got to see the love that is…Ashley & JP!
Jason and I had the pleasure of interacting with Ash and JP quite a bit as they went through the wedding planning process, and I can tell you that these two TRULY are the most adorable couple and could not be more in love with each other. We were so honored to be a part of their special day and we wish them a lifetime of love and happiness, just has Jason and I have found…of course with lots of babies too!
The wedding was absolutely stunning, and as one of the only sober people in the house…I can assure you that everyone had a TON of fun!
Last night, we also debuted the “bump” that is…Baby Mesnick. Talk about a stressor! 6 months preggo…TV Cameras…and Cocktail attire! The triple whammy of a girl’s biggest nightmare!
That said…I had a LOT of help putting myself together! To give you the rundown…
- The dress!
My go-to spot when I need to find something FABULOUS to wear is Shop It To Me! Basically, SITM is an online personal shopping assistant! You set your profile based on the sizes you need, stores you like, and items you’re looking for. It then scours the internet
to find you a plethora of options based on your parameters…that are all on SALE! Does it get any better than that…I don’t think so!
For the wedding, I wanted to find a dress that was bright, long-sleeve, with just the right amount of fabric to show a little “belly”. I was able to narrow my search and stumble upon the Tibi shift dress that I wore! It was SUPER easy, and a tool I will always use when dress hunting!
- The Jewels!
I am a die-hard Stella & Dot fan, as most of you know, so there was no doubt they would have the perfect necklace to pair with my
orange dress! Since I was wearing a high neck, solid dress I knew that I need a “Show stopping” bib necklace. The Pegasus was a no-brainer! I paired it with some simple, gold studs, and the Aurora cocktail ring for some extra bling!
- The Shoes!
After deciding on the solid dress and gold necklace, I knew I had some room to add some spunk to my outfit with the shoes. Without getting too crazy, I paired it with some leopard, peep-toe pumps! They act as a “neutral” to nearly every outfit, but also jazz up a solid outfit with just the right amount of print.
- The Make-up!
In my “old age”, I’ve stopped wearing as much make-up as I used to. Because of that, I feel like I’m out of practice, so I knew I needed some MAJOR help for this wedding. My go-to place when we’re visiting LA is Blushington! It’s the cutest make-up bar I’ve ever been too and they do an AMAZING job! I told my make-up artist (who also happens to be named Molly) exactly what I was hoping for…and she delivered! Their pricing is INCREDIBLY reasonable and it was such a fun experience. Not to mention it takes ton of pressure off when you don’t have to worry about doing your own make-up! For all of you Texans…they JUST opened a new Dallas location too!
Altogether, it was a really fun weekend with our Bachelor Family! Hopefully they’ll be another wedding in the future (Sean…can you hear me!)
